Welcome to our school website. If you are unable to find the information you require, please contact the school and we'll be happy to help.
We firmly believe that working together with parents and families is the best way to help children to enjoy learning and reach their full potential. We offer many opportunities for parents to meet and engage in exciting and educational activities.Â
We have an open door policy and are always available to answer any questions and hear your views. If you would like to read our Ofsted report, or, if you have a child at our school and would like to complete a parent questionnaire, then please go to http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/inspection-reports/find-inspection-report/provider/ELS/104141
Each term we host a 'Celebration Day' where parents and carers can spend time in nursery with their child and experience some of the exciting activities that the children do each day. We also have individual appointments for parents/carers to meet with their child's teacher to discuss their progress.
We organise visits each year for a family member to accompany their child, these include trips to the theatre, farm, seaside etc.
We run workshops covering such topics as healthy eating on a budget, creative activities with your child, making potions and helping your child with reading, writing and numbers.
We run a baby group and toddler group each week, for our youngest children and their families to meet and enjoy learning together and to help people to develop a network of friends.
Family Support
Sue Griffiths provides help and support for families who request this. She has a private office where parents and other family members can talk confidentially with Sue about a variety of issues relating to their children, family life, well-being and mental health.
