Information for Parents

Get Involved

We firmly believe that working together with parents and families is the best way to help children to enjoy learning and reach their full potential. We offer weekly opportunities for parents to meet and engage in exciting and educational activities.

We have an open door policy and are always available to answer any questions and hear your views. If you would like to read our Ofsted report, or, if you have a child at our school and would like to complete a parent questionnaire, then please go to http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/inspection-reports/find-inspection-report/provider/ELS/104141

Celebration Days

Each term we host a 'Celebration Day' where parents and carers can spend time in nursery with their child and experience some of the exciting activities that the children do each day. We also have individual appointments for parents/carers to meet with their child's teacher to discuss their progress.

Family Visits

We organise visits each year for a family member to accompany their child, these include trips to the theatre, farm, seaside etc.

Parent / Carer Workshops

We run individual workshops and six weekly sessions covering such topics as healthy eating on a budget, creative activities with your child, making potions and helping your child with reading, writing and numbers.

Coffee Drop-ins

We try to provide the opportunity for parents and carers to meet informally, to help people to develop a network of friends.

Stay and Play Sessions

We run a baby group and toddler group each week, for our youngest children and their families to meet and enjoy learning together.
